Your ideas belong to you.

BuildOrNot stores account information, submitted ideas, clarification answers, founder profiles, and generated reports to provide your workspace. Reports are private to the signed-in account and are not published or indexed.

How analysis works

In live mode, idea information is sent to OpenAI for analysis. Targeted research queries are sent to the configured search provider. Avoid submitting trade secrets or sensitive personal information. OpenAI requests are configured with response storage disabled; providers may retain data under their own terms.

Payments and consultations

Stripe processes payment details. BuildOrNot stores payment references and entitlement status, not card numbers. An external booking provider handles consultations. Your report is not automatically sent to the consultant.

Your controls

Use the export and delete controls on a report to download your visible report or remove the idea and associated report content. Usage counters remain to enforce free limits. You can edit your founder profile at any time.

Cookies and measurement

A secure session cookie keeps you signed in. First-party product events record actions such as opening a report or completing a purchase. Event records do not include idea text, passwords, or founder-profile content.

Beta operations

The production operator must finalize retention periods, privacy contact details, and account deletion procedures before public launch. This beta notice describes the current implementation.
